Oriflame or Halloween Carnival?

Last week, I was invited by my neighbor to the Oriflame Carnival. I went there to check out the products. They were offering discounted facial, nail-art and free make-up. I decided to try the facial to try out any good skin-care products. The experience was satisfactory.

Then they insisted me to go for the free make-up session. It was a life-time experience. I sat down for it and saw that all the make-up was lying open on the table. Anyway, the lady started with the tinted cream because they did not have a foundation at that time (why do they organize such session when they don’t have the basics). She gave me an excuse that this tinted cream will be light on the skin (whatever, then why do we use foundation?). And then applied some compact on my face. For the eye, they had only purple shades. I asked her to do whatever suits my eyes (I’ve big eyes). She suggested smokey eyes and firstly applied black eyeshadow all over the eyelids and then shiny whitish eyeshadow in the center followed by applying white liner on my waterline which made my eyes look even more bigger and horrible.

Moving on to the cheeks, she  literally rubbed the blush all over my cheeks (Lady, I already have a thin face, blush only on my apples is enough). Infact, there was more blush on my right cheeks then my left. Then she rubbed some more blush on my forehead, nose and chin.By this time I had lost all interest in whatever she was upto.

Now, the cherry on the cake :P She started lining my lips and then applied some sticky, clumsy gel-lipstick which literally was about to stick my upperlip to lowerlip. I asked her to hand me over the mirror and a tissue so that I can free my lips from the mess. When I saw myself in the mirror, what do i see???? Super tacky and sticky pink thingy with…. BLACK LIP LINER

Boss, there is still some time for the Halloween party!

We expect expert-tips from such a renowned brand but instead of promoting their products well, they are scaring us by employing such inexperienced people.
