Gayatri Khanna: You can wear a pair of high stilettos or even kitten heels depending on your comfort level. Wedges and pumps are also a great option. Carry a purse/ clutch that will make a statement. Bold and glittering makeup.

Gayatri Khanna: Since New Years Eve is such a celebrated event people generally go over the top with blingy outfits and accessories, instead try keeping it balanced and sophisticated. If your dress is heavily embellished then opt for a simple pair of stilettos or pumps and carry an elegant clutch. Also experiment with this  season’s styles and colours.

Launched in Dec 2006, Gayatri expressed her fashion interest by designing her own Luxury Line of clothes which premiered in March 2007 at the Lakme Fashion Week. Gayatri’s first ever showcase of her creations gave her an overwhelming response and then there was no looking back.
Her style can be described as European inspired prints and embellishments being her forte creating a look that is glamorous, edgy and global. The experience she gained from working with the International fashion brands and gurus in Milaaya Embroideries helped her stay in sync with the global fashion trends and styles and she ingeniously incorporated these in her design sensibilities. Gayatri, who also believes in using her platform to promote a social cause, won accolades for her collection based on the themes of Global Warming and; Saving our Coral Reefs.
The label has come a long way since then, stocking with the top-notch buyers all over India and even globally in UAE and Finland.
It has been regularly featured in some of the most widely read fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan etc. The brand has styled some of the most well known faces which include the likes of Aishawarya Rai Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone among other Bollywood actors as well as some of the most elite socialites. Besides participating in the Lakme Fashion Week, Mumbai and Wills India Fashion Week, Delhi, Gayatri has also done special shows for Swiss Guess Watches, Audi, a 5 city show for Mercedes Benz, Blenders Pride, designed a range of bed linens for Portico New York as well as fashion shows the hugely popular IPL(Indian Premier League) Season 3 After-Match parties. She was also invited to participate and showcase at the Indian Premier London Fashion Week-London in May,2010.

After graduating from Babson College Gayatri moved to New York and worked with various garment companies before getting a job at Saks Fifth Avenue as a buyer for designer wear.
