Loy Krathong Thai Festival 19 November 2011 – Parramatta Sydney

20 Nov

Considered to be one of Sydney’s most awaited events, Loy Krathong gets you to experience the exotic culture of Thailand right in the heart of Sydney. Musical performances, traditional dancers, Thai kick-boxing, Thai art workshops, Thai sweet making demonstrations, mask making, and exotic Thai food!

Held at the Parramatta Riverbank, it brings a mesmerizing aura to the entire area.

Some glimpses of the festival through my camera lenses:

Thai Mini Make-up Mirror

13 Oct

Hey peeps,

Here is another item from my Thailand collection – Mini Make-up Mirror. The round mirror was packed in the yellow box given below. The love for elephant is evident here :P The colorful shiny work with the red elephant is quite neat and attractive. There are two mirrors inside – normal and zoom view.

Thai Pouch

13 Oct

Hey peeps,  here is PA’s  pouch from Thailand. What I really like about stuff from Thailand is the elephant motif on various items. This pouch is not too big or too small, it is just adequate to carry or store accessories, make-up or whatever you feel like. Its copper and gold color gives it an ethnic look. It can be used to store small stuff while traveling.
