Taj Salon invited me to experience their services and live the day like a queen. It is always a happy trip to Taj Land’s End as I’m a fan of their ambiance and view. Taj Salon is on the second level of Taj Land’s End Hotel, Bandra and I love the view of their lobby from top, especially the piano at the corner. So my Sunday afternoon was spent well lot of pampering, beauty, luxury, class and friendly-professional service. The Taj Salon for men and women exemplifies the ambiance of an up-market luxury salon offering the perfect blend of hair styling and beauty treatments that far exceed mere indulgence.
Though I was not carrying my camera that day but I had to film this for you to witness it yourself. So here is a quick video for you. Let me know your suggestions on what you would like to see next on my YouTube Channel which I hope you have subscribed and if you haven’t, do it now. Lot of new stuff coming your way. I’m looking forward to visit Taj Salon again and trying out the other services like hair-cut, facial, skin and hair treatment. Would you like me to try out a specific service? Leave your suggestions in the comment box below.
Taj Salon is spacious, organized and you will feel warmth when you enter it. After meeting the gorgeous team and smiling staff, I headed straight away to the mani-pedi chair which overlooks the soothing sea. Post a super-relaxing mani-pedi and hand, foot, shoulder massage I enjoyed the finest professional hair repair treatment followed by blow-drying, hair-styling and lovely makeup session. To complete the experience, a royal photo-booth was set up with a marvelous throne and tiara. And yours truly posed there in her unique and fun ishtyle.
The Taj salon 1st opened its doors in 1940 as one of the only 2 salons in the country
The salon was run by Madame Jacques (a French national) for 42 years and pioneered the shape of the salon industry as it is known today styling the who’s who of the world including former Ms.World, Madame Pompodour in those times. She had created a differentiation by importing colours/products from Singapore etc in a time when only locally made products were available.
Madame Jacques retired in 1981 and the salon was taken over by Taj Group, renovated and re-launched under the brand ‘Taj Salon’.
