Small v/s Big

5 Apr

Does your world requires less or more space?

PA is a small purse/clutch person. She likes to keep it basic while going out – Cash, Cards, makeup for touch-ups, mobile and few other things. Though I would like to be this way too but my lifestyle or probably habits requires me to carry a big bag every single day. (Bigger the better.. LOL)

When I have to find something in my bag I end up digging into it like a treasure hunt :P and people wonder what’s in my bag… if you are thinking the same then this is the day I’m revealing the secret :D

My bag is a super-hero and you will find:

  1. Wallet (Cash, cards, IDs)
  2. Book
  3. Notepad and pink-color pen or pencil (Yes I still use them, I’m little old-fashioned here)
  4. iPod
  5. Pair of Sunglasses
  6. Keys
  7. Mobile phone
  8. Visiting card holder
  9. Hair-brush and accessories
  10. Moisturizer (small)
  11. Pack of face-tissues (small)
  12. Water bottle (medium-size)
  13. Small packet of cookies/wafers (Quick bite)
  14. Earrings, bracelets and necklaces (Laying here and there)
  15. Stroll/Jacket
  16. Pain-killers, tablets for upset stomach (for emergency)
  17. Sanitary pad
  18. Mini make-up pouch (Depending on my mood I sometimes go sans makeup and then apply it when in mood or when I have to attend an event/party)
  19. Extra pair of clothes – sometimes (To dress-up for a party)
  20. Pair of heels (Prefer running around the city in flat shoes and then switching on to heels for Salsa classes or socializing)
  21. Few other things that still exist but can’t remember :P

Crazy… isn’t it? But I make it a point to buy a well-compartmentalized bag so that I can find things easily.

Are you a small purse or big bag person?

Do you also have so many things in your bag?

Trends Tracking

  • Collection: Exotic bags with geometric embroidery and beadwork so typical of the African region also came alive on handbags along with coordinated accessories like jewellery.
  • Accessory: Jewellery opulent in size and design as collars with rectangle extensions, dangling baubles with masks painted on them; giant oval pendants, multi strands of wooden beads and a choker of two strands of gigantic beads. Flat “U” shaped beaded neckpieces and another with the question mark shape were unconventional. bags were either clutch or shoulder bags to match the footwear which was wedges, or club style.

Thin Waist Belts - VERO MODA

We love this Style tip by Vero Moda: These thin waist belts works perfectly with all body types. If you’re on the thin side, wear these belts around your lower waist to give an illusion of curves; for women with fuller frames, wear it under your bust to accentuate a perfect empire line.

Add them as a pop of colour to a monochrome outfit or to give shape when worn with a loose tunic. They help you change the look of an outfit you’ve owned for years and haven’t worn yet.

Like it?

Do you have any thin waist belts? Which colours?
