Emporio Armani Reopens in Sydney
21 Apr
Emporio Armani reopened its flagship store with a new concept in Sydney. The luxe fashion label celebrated the re-opening of its Sydney store with an ultra glamorous cocktail party and live performances by Melbourne band Strange Talk and Australian DJ Perfect Snatch within the refurbished dual-level store at 4 Martin Place, Sydney.

The launch party was attended by fashion and industry guests and celebrities including Gracie Otto, April Rose Pengilly, Blainey North, Luke and George Burgess and Chris Bath.
The store features signature glossy stone floors in neutral tones whilst walls are covered with light, shiny fabrics with black crystals.
A grand central staircase connects the two levels. The store offers the complete current collection for men and women, the Emporio Armani Underwear line, the Armani Jeans line and the sports EA7 collection. The store reflects recent store openings in Brazil, Paris and Barcelona.
The Sydney store retains menswear on the ground floor and womenswear on the first floor. The spring/summer 2012 collection is in store now and its amazing! Don’t ya miss it!
Get Grill’d
18 AprWe were walking around the streets of Parramatta – Sydney and spotted this new eating joint called – Grill’d Healthy Burgers. We checked out their menu and voilà – they had lamb burgers on it! The hubster is always up for a good Lamb Burger.
Oh, they seem to have 100% grass-fed lamb, and that too lean, he tells PA excitedly. Let’s go for it baby, she says. Well, the good wife that she is, she always supports him in his foodie excursions
The hubster goes for the Baa Baa Lamb Burger ($12.90) – Grilled 100% grass-fed lean lamb, tasty cheese, salad, relish and herbed mayo
PA opted for the Lamb Burger with Goat Cheese and Hummus ($13.50) – Grilled 100% grass fed lean lamb, Meredith Dairy Goats Cheese, chermoula hummus and salad. PA is a huge fan of Goat Cheese
And we also ordered for the Hot Chips ($4.50) with Herbed Mayo. PA always prefers her chips with mayo, instead of tomato ketchup. The hubster, on the other hand, like a true Aussie likes everything with a dose of tomato ketchup.
And then… we waited. Will their Lamb Burgers pass the Hubster’s Test? He can separate wheat from the chaff, he can dissect flavours in a microsecond, this masterchef can tell a good burger when he has one!
The verdict: The Hubster loved the burgers. They certainly lived up to their name – Grill’d ‘Healthy’ Burgers!

In The Awesome Sisters Bullet Review Zone today, the spotlight is on Garden Buffet Restaurant situated in Star City Hotel and Casino, also known as The Star – a premier spot on Darling Harbour.
- The Garden buffet is not situated in a garden, if you thought so
- It is also known as the all you can eat prawns buffet. Oh by the way, it has lot more to offer than just prawns, in case you are getting scared or excited, either ways! The reason it’s called the all-you-can-eat-prawns buffet, is that when ever you walk in there, you can see people gorging on heaps of plump, juicy prawns as if there is no tomorrow!
- The buffet boasts of over 150 dishes to choose from. Oh no, PA didn’t sit there verifying their count. She was busy eating
- There are hot as well as cold dishes, salads, pastas, crabs, lamb, duck, various varieties of seafood, various international cuisine and a variety of desserts.
- If you are like PA who eats a lot, but likes eating a variety, then this place is for you. PA basically tastes a bit of everything and then she is done
PA generally has the desserts first, the sweet tooth syndrome, followed by food tastings of the rest of the stuff and in the end follows it up with another round of desserts. She is a nut! - Its gonna set you back by $41.90 per person – weekend dinner rates.
- The prices include unlimited soft drinks, tea and coffee. You gotta pay for the rest.
- You gotta try their bread butter pudding, its one of the best around. The Hubster swears by it!
- Good ambience, quality food, great variety, reasonable price.
After having been to Garden Buffet on numerous occasions, and many a times without an occasion, PA can safely say that this is one of her go-to places for dining out – in terms of ambience as well as food!
